Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Last year we identified that we needed to review our school app and provide you with a solution that brings together our school-related information in one place. After careful research we have chosen Hero as our new school app.
Hero allows us to customise an online environment that lets our teachers, students, and families view and share content anytime, anywhere on any device. The software is secure and easy to use.
With Hero, you can:
- read school notices sent to the class or groups your child is part of
- respond to school notices such as surveys and trip permission requests
- view school term dates
- view a school calendar of events
- notify the school if your child is absent or late
- navigate to the school website, Kindo and Facebook page
- select how you wish to receive notifications.
Hero has a number of other features that we plan to introduce in the future. We want to move as quickly as we can to Hero so we aren’t duplicating our communciations. However we understand that it may take some time for all families to get set up. Because of this we will continue to email you school notifications through to Thursday 14 April . After this time all school communication will move to Hero.
How to access Hero
To download the app: scan the QR code (top right) or search ‘Hero by linc-ed’ in the app store.
To access from a desktop: go to app.linc-ed.com
Follow the instructions in this video - Logging into Hero – which walks you through setting your password and logging in for the first time. We recommend that you also bookmark the Hero login page for easy access.
